Colorado Water Garden Society's "Water Blossom Celebration"
Event Date | Sun, Aug 10, 2025 9:00 AM - Sun, Aug 10, 2025 1:00 PM |
The annual “Water Blossom Celebration”
co-sponsored by the Colorado Water Garden Society and Denver Botanic Gardens
will take place on Sunday, August 10. The spectacular displays of water
lilies, lotuses, cannas, and other aquatic plants will be near their peaks, and
visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about water gardening,
including how to set up a container water garden or create a small water
feature in their own yard.
From 9:00 to 1:00, there will be a variety of activities near the Hive
Restaurant on the south side of the Monet Pool. Guided tours of the Gardens’
world renowned water gardens will be offered. There will also be a
carnivorous plants education table and display, as well as an aquatic plant
education cart set up alongside the Monet Pool. Experts will be on hand to
provide information and brochures related to water gardening. Free water plants
will be available while supplies last.
This event is free, but Denver Botanic Gardens membership or admission fee is
required.
