In 2025, two longtime Colorado organizations—the Pikes Peak Water Garden Society, founded in 1989, and the Southern Colorado Koi Club, founded in 2009—joined forces to create the
Pikes Peak Koi & Water Garden Society.

The result is a stronger, more vibrant community where beginners, seasoned hobbyists, and everyone in between can share ideas, learn new skills, make lasting friendships, and celebrate the joys of ponds, water features, and these fascinating fish.

Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting and expanding the enjoyment of water gardening and the responsible care, appreciation, and exhibition of koi. Through educational programs, hands-on activities, shared experiences, and friendly support, we help our members grow their knowledge while building a community that welcomes everyone with an interest in the hobby.

We meet on the second Thursday of each month during the summer, with opportunities to learn, exchange ideas, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy our shared passion.
