About Us

In 2025, the Pikes Peak Water Garden Society (founded in 1989) and the Southern Colorado Koi Club (founded in 2009) united to form the

Pikes Peak Koi & Water Garden Society

(PPKWGS).

This merger combines decades of knowledge, expertise, and a shared passion for Koi keeping and water gardening, creating a vibrant and inclusive community for enthusiasts of all levels.

The Club's mission is to cultivate a friendly and welcoming environment dedicated to the promotion, development, and expansion of water gardening, and the care, admiration, exhibition, and responsible ownership of Koi. We aim to disseminate knowledge on these subjects by engaging in educational and supportive activities while fostering a sense of community.

Originating here in Colorado Springs, Colorado, much of this non-profits membership is based in and around the Pikes Peak area.

Club Meetings are the second Thursday of each month throughout the summer.

Membership is open to the public and interested water gardeners or Koi enthusiasts are invited to attend a meeting.
